    Found another good video of a 94 Camaro tearing it up!



    He also brought up a good point I had forgotten to ask, are there going to be any oiling issues I should worry about? Do LT1s have any problems in sweeping turns with getting everything properly lubed up?

    Just ordered some EBC green pads from Summit, already got brake fluid in the garage. My friend with the BMW who kept saying he could probably beat me on a road course dropped out today, he's afraid of wearing out his relatively new $1500 brake replacement (his calipers decided to randomly clamp down and lock up on him doing 80 on the highway and destroyed the whole assembly right down to the hubs) and he's currently losing hours really bad at his job and looking for a new one. Guess we'll have to settle that score another day. On the flip-side though, an acquaintance through a mutual friend is big into road racing here and has raced numerous times on this track and is offering tips and tricks, so I'll overlook the fact he's a die-hard Mustang fan

    Also, bump for my question above about the oil thing. Anyone?

    I dont think ive ever seen anyone complaining about oiling issues during g's....
    ...unless ur pickup tube falls off

    You will do fine with stock pan. If you are going to go more focused on autox/road course racing. Go to a canton pan.

    The Canton will give you more oil and keep temps down. But like i said isn't needed till you decide to make it more of a track car.

    Perfect, that's the answer I was looking for, thanks man! I gotta say, I'm pretty stoked for this event, I've been wanting to get out on a road course for a while now. Drag racing is fun on its own, but I can see this being addiction-level fun
