Ya, I bought a 2003 Tahoe with a 5.3l and I think I might part out the motor and put a LT1 or diesel in it...

Psych! There will be no parting out a LTX for me, ever. Technically I went to the dark side with the Tahoe but they never made one with a LT1 so it was the next best option. I really wish they had diesels, which is what it'll eventually get. Don't worry Popo, I'm like hanging out on Anchor Island with ya!

Well folks looks like I'll be moving past the Corvette phase soon. I wasn't really planning on letting the C4 go, but I've had a coworker hound me since the day I bought this car. It's his dream car. He wants nothing more than to own it, garage store it, and drive it 4-5 miles to work and occasionally cruise it. Even though I've sunk much work into it, I think I'm going to let it go. I know it'll have a good owner and he'll really enjoy the car. I've got it for another two weeks until he comes back from a family vacation. However I'm his mechanic so I'll still get to work on it or drive it whenever. The other part of the sale contract is that he has to offer to sell it back to me before anyone else, even though he claims he's keeping it for life.

The only thing I really regret not doing is getting some dyno numbers for the motor I built. I could either get some runs in before it leaves but he'd probably let me take it out after it's his as well.
