    Constructive criticism:

Allow anonymous users to browse threads. From an SEO perspective, google won't index this website and less people will discover it.

When people google their issue, they enter in their issue, they don't enter in "lt1 message forums" then signup and search. Your signup strategy would have worked fifteen years ago, but nowadays, it won't work.

Advice Source: I'm a web developer.

There was a conscious decision made to restrict access to the site at one point in time, but Sean, Larry and I can talk about whether or not to open it back up.

Meh, would rather not want this place to be like those other "forums".

    Reason: low tolerance for bs

You can still have the "low tolerance for bs" and still allow non registered users to view content. They can't post without being registered or signed in. If it was a privacy thing, restrict viewing access to the lounge area and allow the technical areas to be open for viewing. If it helps people find the site, what's the harm?

I just Googled "lt1 optispark removal" and "common lt1 issues" and had zero hits from ltxtech.com.

Weird, you're right, I just noticed that when looking something else up. I stand corrected.
