Area 51: ADVANCED TECH rules.
This section is dedicated to the discussion of LTX ADVANCED TECH.
A "hardcore" type section, for those who want to discuss making big numbers, or running the fast times.
Everyone is welcome in this section, but No basic LTX tech should be discussed.Last edited by popo8; 11-25-2012 at 11:06 PM.

... may i suggest a minimum HP or ET to post in this section ... and you have to show dyno sheets of track slips to post in the section?
some thing like 450+ RWHP or 11.500 or faster?94 Formula "budget build" #thebeaterbird

The only problem with putting a regulations and proving that u make big power will take most people out of it.. if the section is for big plans then obviously u won't have a dyno sheet. But I like the thought of the section!

I would like to add that this section IS NOT for banter and bs. Leave that crap to the lounge. One reason big hitters will want to post here is to get away from all of that crap. If I see it, I will delete it and impose an infraction on the account.

What defines a big hitter? And if no banter, then how can a advanced technical discussion be had?

By banter I believe they mean the kind of grab assy stuff that has no bearing or even remote semblance to the topic of the thread. (i.e. sexual innuendo, thread hijacking, posts that are just completely off topic etc).
As far as the big hitter, and I am sure i will get corrected if I am wrong, but I think they mean more along the lines of highly technical discussion (the effects of a long vs short rod ratio, camshaft timing events, air flow dynamics) vs stuff that a newb to the platform might ask (bolt ons and stuff like that)Last edited by 94Blackbird; 11-25-2012 at 12:03 PM.

Well I appereciate your concern... however, rest assured that I/we are not trying to "GET" anyone to join that do not post anymore.... RATHER, we listen to what many of them have said and complained about, and created a place that they requested. If they use it.... EXCELLENT.. if they dont, well then it looks like there will be an unused section that will be here for them whenever they want.....
I hope that is a sufficient explaination.

Cleaned up the thread. This section will be heavily regulated. Any off topic posts will get deleted - we want serious advanced LTx discussion taking place.
