Took this a few months ago. Nothing new to report other than I adjusted my valves and made it a lot quieter when warm. Initially thought I screwed the adjustment up cause when I restarted it reved to 3k and shut right off. After over thinking it for a week or two. Started to tear it down again when I saw the brake booster vacuum line tucked neatly behind the booster...I'm an idiot. Reconnected and fired on first rotation perfectly. Dove it last week a few times on the warm days but it's now bedded down in the garage till spring.Last edited by Sahara54; 01-29-2018 at 04:36 AM.

Had a nice day before the Nor'Easter hit this week and took advantage to put on new KYB adjustables in the rear, Strano Brake Master Support, new wheel spacers and adjust the front KYB's. Car handles sooo much better without drag shocks on the rear and brakes are amazing. I thought I broke something with how stiff the pedal feels. I had non hub centric spacers on before and had a horrible vibration at anything over 65mph...now nice and smooth still has a slight buzz up higher so may have to tweek the pinion angle. What started as a 5 min trip for to top off the tank ended up being a hour drive all around the area. Woodland2.jpg

You did an awesome job of pulling that car together, loving the stance and that front lip makes the front end look even meaner.
Great job!

It's been a bit since I updated...like always. After fighting with the car to pass inspection for over a month, I succumb to getting a temp tag to make it to OC. I fought split blms the whole time. Changed damn near everything injectors, FPR, Map, Temp Sensors, IAT, MAF, Fuel Filter, LS Coils, plugs (3 sets), Headers, Cat, Re-did the catback. nothing helped. I have since figured this out, I noticed that the alt has been reading low but didn't think much of it. Turns out I had the exciter wire plugged in but not fully seated. I was only showing 10.5V at the batter while running, after plugging it in all the way I'm back to 13.5v and perfect BLMs. 111-115 equal on both sides after a drive. Anyway here are some pics from the rainy but awesome weekend.
Car actually did just fine all weekend other than the usual some sort of exhaust issue. Y-pipe dropped low and scrapped everything.
In other news the Cobra we built finally made it and did perfect . Car was tuned the Sunday before Cruisn' and made 575/606 on 11psi(wastegate). The tru-boost had issues and the tuner wasn't able to turn it up at the time of the tune. New DR's and an alignment was done on Monday before we left. Sanded, painted and cleared the bumpers on Tuesday, wet sanded and buffed on Wednesday.
Our cruise down. Only about 60 miles for me, was overcast but dry until Bethany and the bottom let out.

Rain let up enough to grab some pics before the LS1tech Meet.
