    if they are bleeding down its possible you got a couple bad ones.........like mentioned above check ur preload if its too high this could do it.......also what are you running for spring pressures???

    Thanks Mike, I plan on doing that when I get home from work today if I get off early enough. As far as I know it still has the stock cam/springs.

    I know this car was autocrossed in the past but I cant believe at 43k miles it has already needed a set of lifters and now THOSE are acting up. Ive had lt1 cars with 100k+ miles that were no were near as noisy as this engine.

    What oil filter are you running? Its a long shot, but if the filer doest have an anti-drain back valve the oil would work its way back to the pan....

    What weight oil are you running Tinch, and synthetic or petroleum...

    I honestly dont know? Ive only driven it about 1800 miles and the oil was new when I bought it.

    Some thicker dino oil might help with the noise.
