Good to hear it's back home! Lookin forward to seeing it back out this year. It's crazy how tiny those 8.5's look on a 10" wheel!!

Looking good!! I like the parachute mount with the pin on push bar setup. I am adding that to mine also. Much easier to push back to the pits than pull.

Finally got the car running, to the dyno, and to the track. Unfortunately the drum speed sensor on the dyno went out, so I wasn't able to get any numbers. I also had a few little issues at the track for the first time so I didn't get any good runs in. I'll definitely fill you guys in when I do.

Its been almost 4 years. Went to the 8.5 race last weekend at US36. Only got 2 passes in then it started pouring. Thats ok, because it was driving through the converter pretty hard. Needs tightenend up a BUNCH! LOL. I was in high gear and on the limiter by 400 ft. Not too good for ETs. Ran a best of 6.44 @117 like that. Tighter converter should net some good times.

How big diameter and stall wise? Who's converter? Glide or 400?

That 8.5 class is a pretty cool class..

It's a Mark Micke (M&M Transmission) 9.5". It doesn't have a 'stall' rating, just trying to shoot for about 4000, but right now it goes to about 6500 on the brake. I'm making a little more power than what I was before. I'm running a T400 with a 2nd gear transbrake, and a 4.11 rear gear.
