2.02/1.60 valves in stock lt1 heads
does anyone know what seats are needed to put 2.02/1.60s in the lt1 heads?

You need a butt load of pocket portwork done to unshroud it for 2.02 1.60.... you would be looking at LE3 heads at that point...

FWIW I asked about upgrading my LE2's with the bigger valves and LE told me the gain in performance wasn't worth the labor needed to put that size valve in a stock head (aprox. 10 hp for a 400+ rwhp car). Sorry I know that doesn't answer your question.

Yea there is 9 second cars with the 2.00" valves in ported stock heads which takes no seat replacement. If your goal is bigger than that you may be better off with aftermarket heads. I too am sorry about no legit answer, just legit info.

2.02/1.60 on stock seats? if the machine shop didn't open them up for the larger valves, you're not getting the full benefit of larger valves. If he did then he cut through the hardened surface of the seats. If this is the case, the longevity of the seats has been greatly diminished.
