Need help quick with lt1 noise

has a noise when you left off and noise holds steady around 2500 rpm sounds like something up top my not exactly sure.,

i have readjusted the rockers twice and it still does it idk whats wrong with it.

i neeed to figure this out i start my new job on tuesday need help fast!!!!!

Not to scare the crap out of you but I have had a spun rod bearing make that sound before. It would tap at idle, clear up under light throttle around 1k, and come back around 2500. It was especially noticable when I let off the gas. Sometimes it's hard to tell if a sound is coming from top or bottom because of how low our cars sit. Try using a wooden dowel or plastic handled screwdriver to listen around and see if you can pinpoint it.

I had a similar issue. It was either the bad bearing for the water pump drive, the cracked windage tray, or one of the rod/main bearings I replaced. I ended up pulling the motor and tearing it down. Noise is gone now.
