Most of what I'm seeing is in the 5's, but I haven't been to my local stores yet, going today or tomorrow. Who knows I may find something used I like for a good deal. There's certainly not a rule saying I have to spend the entire budget either lol

I have a Ruger sr40c and for the money, $399 on sale, and what it has/ comes with, was the best bang for the buck that I saw at the moment. I also had a xdm45 and that was just a bada$$ firearm. But there $100-200 over your budget. Love the Ruger though. I carry it or have it with me almost all the time.

Springfield makes amazing guns, but glock is built tough as hell.

I conceal a glock 19 with no problems and I'm a fat sss. A 17 I think would be a bit much. May want to check out the glock 30s that came out fir a good compromise. uploadfromtaptalk1360109732655.jpg
