It's a glock with a body kit. You need to SBR it. Otherwise it's illegal. Probably can pistol brace it though, Michigan has some funny ass loopholes. You can conceal carry an ak47 if you have a folding stock and it measures under 26 inches...

Got my cpl.. Applied Thursday, received Monday. All my friends had to wait 30 days. What do ya'll use for holsters? The one I got is kinda meh. Figured I'd just go to a gun show. For a shield 9

Short barreled rifle. Because it can be fired from the shoulder it's considered a rifle and the barrel length doesn't meet the minimum requirements as a rifle. There are a few gray areas that I've seen people get in to in order to stay "legal". One being adding a non removable silencer to the barrel. The silencer is usually fake, depending on the state. A lot of 3 gun shooters will use setups like that because they're lighter than a full length rifle and easier to swing

Wish the nfa would go the hell away. This isn't 1930 anymore. Laws need to be revisited

The SHARE act is looking promising, and that will hopefully yank suppressors off the NFA list. They would be a regular firearm at that point, so standard NICS and your good to go.

Anyone catch the amazon/ATF sting that was running on a "airsoft full auto glock seer"?

    The comments were gold.

I feel bad for the ATF at times, but then they manage to earn their bad rep and convince me otherwise.

No such thing. Receiver has to be drilled for the happy pin aka the auto sear which is tripped by the dick on the bcg when it goes into battery.

No an ar is a whole different ball game. Dias and lightning links are easy to remove from a host and are the registered part in the atf eyes.

You can legally own full auto fcg for an akm platform. The moment an ak becomes a machine gun is when the receiver is drilled for the auto sear hole. Some imports back in the day like maadis, saigas, and mainly lebanu mak90 imports had the 3rd whole In them. Even though they lacked the actual sear, correct fcg parts, and most didn't have the rail slotted they are still machine guns by in definition.
