Yeah, that's the plan. I think I step up and install a cooler in the garage.

I wonder that all the time about people to worked on the assembly line. I look at newer cars and I just can't ever see anyone saying I wish I had 2000 Impala.

Well after my buddy picked up a camaro for 800 bucks with a t56 to use in his swap it brought back the spark that I want a t56. So literally the same week, I find a 95 TA with a t56. Car is complete, but the guy said his son spun a bearing. So I picked it up for 700. Going to take the t56, swap in a spare lt1 and 4l60e. Try to make some money back and have a free t56. Then t56 for the Skylark. Probably won't get started for another two weeks, then I'll be on vacation. I'll have 11 full days straight to work on the car. I have a lot to do but I hope I can have the engine in and running by then.

I like seeing these old cars stripped apart and rebuilt. Its kinda cool to think that old man Jones and his crew built it in the factory way back and now you are rebuilding it.
I wonder is when those guys built those cars if they know that some day they would be classics? Its something I doubt the guys working the assembly line today can say. Its not like the new Chevy Malibu is going to be a hot classic car 50 years from now.
I say that about the import stuff that I see saying that "Imports have no soul" I mean think about it, is anybody going to be looking on the net or any place else for that matter for a fog light ect for any honda 20, 30, 40 or even 50 years from now? No they arent but they will still be looking for parts for a 1993 Camaro tho because these cars have a soul and will always be loved by somebody including my grandson who will be driving a classic 1993 Z/28.

Wow that's one hell of a score for both of you! A t56 swap is worth anywhere from 1200-1300 alone. Good find!

Man, I have slacked again on the updates. I took a vacation in august and I got the entire underside of the car taken down to metal and painted with por15 like I did the frame. It looks great. I'll have to get some pics up. I have the front suspension also hand tightened together. I have the trans pulled from the TA that I bought. I need to clean it up and cut a hole in the Buick so I can set the body back down and start fitting everything in there. I cut the hole in the trunk for the tank and pump. I still need to clearance the frame a little more and add some bracing. I'll get some pictures going as soon as I can.

Also went on another little vacation in september and did the propsal. Went fantastic and we're set for next october.

Right on. Congrats to you also man.

On with the pics. You'll see how close my tires are to the frame. I need adapters for the front and rear to move the wheels out and fit a decent tire. The tires on it are 235/50/17. They'll do for now.
