There are a couple of little tweaks that can be made to a couple of specs which differ from what I've read on another site.
Right now I don't know which info is correct, the info here or the info on grandsportregistry.com. Little stuff like the cam specs for the 96 LT1 'Y' body.
Just trying to help.

Anyone know what accounts for the differences in HP and torque between the various models? With the LT4 or LT5 vs the LT1, the differences are obvious. But what is it about the Corvette LT1 that gives it 300HP vs 275HP for the pre-1996 F-body? Or what makes the 1996-1997 SS and the Firehawk have 30-40 more HP than, say, a typical 1995 Z28?

sales my friend!
would you pay the money for a corvette if the lesser price F-body had the same HP rating. As far as i am concerned the Lt1s are all the same, the vettes had true duals and lighter weight.
Now the GS vette and the 96 6spd models were Lt4s and you know the obvious differences.
