Numerically higher gears (steeper) will cause a slight hp loss on the dyno.

The healthy and properly set up H/C car will walk a 383 with stock untouched heads..........that is the biggest reason to do the healthy head first. Yes they will ultimately be the same in the end,...

Top choice is a Polo Green 97 SS. Being as I already have a car very similar to that, I'd have to go with...........
