I know this is the wrong forum, but lots of people like fast cars in general.

I was kinda planning on going this year, but cant go. I know that a bunch of people from New Era Performance are heading down there. Theyre taking a G8 GT (Mike @ New Era owns it, puts down 410rwhp), a SOM 99 Z28 (450 rwhp), an 03 TT C5R Z06 vette :drool: (800+rwhp.. made 1032rwhp at one point but was detuned), and an 06 STS turbo'd GTO (I think its putting down like 550rwhp).

I was really hoping to make it down there this year though.

I was going to hitch a ride with one of my LSx friends, but his dad ended up setting his wedding date to the same weekend, so we can't really miss that.

I went last year and it was a blast!! I'll be the funny looking guy with the black NHRA edition Trans Am in the car show!! Come by and say hey.:cool:

I went last year, It was a great time. Nothing but fast cars,BBQ,and beer for 4 days. I went down with my brother and his crew. This year I couldn't get off work. So, I'm out.

I'm currently detailing the cars I posted up from New Era. The G8 GT and Z28 will be driven down, but the GTO and Vette will be trailered. I just waxed the GTO, and I'm going to be polishing and waxing the vette once its off the dyno.

I have 2 pics of the GTO, and I will post them up tommrow. I waxed the G8, but didnt take any pictures. The guy in the Z28 was making some last minute adjustments and I wasnt able to clean it up.
