98-02 rear taillights on 96 question

I looked at the thread to switch to the 98-02 ls1 firebird tailights, and the pcitures didn't work, the question I have is that do the ls1 style tailights jsut screw right on, with no other modification?

I have some from a 00 on my T/A with an 01? Trans Am center filler panel on my TA, work fine. All 93-02 Firebird/Trans Am lights and center filler panels are interchangeable.
