Speedinc is still a bit high imho you can order direct from Hid manufactures to cut cost down even more , :metal: But I do love buying everything from one spot.
I personally thinking the sealed beam conversions are the way to go with halogen lamps

considering how much true hid kits cost I more than welcome speedincs price... plus everything is already setup for you.
Plus you need an aftermarket housing for the hids because the stock one wont work

Speed Inc. Is a very trusted Outlet for anything f-body related. Not to mention they run discounts all of the time. I think they might have a 15% off right now...not sure, and anyone from LTX can get the HID set for 189.99 shipped and then they also throw on any discount at the time. Plus, if you have any problems whatsoever they'll be there to answer your questions, send you a replacement, or even give you your money back if necessary.
So, in short...I'd go with Speed ;)

I got a set of HID's for my LT1 using "stock" style factory housings. It was someone on ebay who only had one set, but they are about the best thing available for LTX headlights right now as far as light quantity and quality goes.
If you really want to go all out and don't mind how they look, there have been some guys who have done the Hella 90mm projector upgrade to their headlights, and then on top of that installed HID's.
