Im trying to decide on weather I want to go twin intank with 2 255lph pumps or one 255 intank and one 255 external? Is there a difference between the two volume wise or is one going to a bottle neck?. The second pump will only be coming on when I spray . Any ideas?, suggestions?

I would personally go with two in tank, and I did just finish my setup. Dual GS 340's. I cant see where another pump inline would really help, one would be pushing fuel to the inline pump while the other is trying to pull from the tank pump. Kinda of like two 12 volt batteries, series you get 12 volts and in parallel you get 24 volts. Make sure you get submersible fuel line if you do and its not cheap, $32.00 for One Foot!!!

FYI Submersible fuel line:
5/16 Gates 27093...NAPA H209
3/8 Gates 27097...NAPA H213

I did 2 intank pumps. I have the 2nd on a switch and turn it on for nitrous passes only. There are a few pics of the pumps on my car domain page. See link below.

^^nice setup. Is there anybody that makes a kit for a dual pump kit or do you just have to fab it up on your own? How do u tackle the wiring?

There's an excellent write up with pics on how to fab up your own (which most people, including myself have ended up doing)

^^^That was the write up I used. Then did one of my own for LT1s. http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/nitrous-oxide/942432-my-dual-intank-pumps-lt1.html
As far as the wiring, I set up a relay using 10 gauge wire from the alternator, and a switch in the dash. My first pump already had the Racetronics hotwire kit. If you are going both pumps at the same time, Racetronics makes a dual hotwire kit.

Here (http://www.racetronix.biz/customkititems.asp?kc=BCWA-G7U&eq=) is a factory style tank harness that would come in handy for wiring a second pump.

I run one 255 walboro HV in the tank... and the inline off my procharger (donor car) kit.

Works my 60 lbs injectors with no problem.... If anything I still have a "FAT" issue....

without the bucket do you have any problems when your fuel is low?

I don't let mine get below a 1/4 tank, but I positioned my return line so it drains returning fuel over the pumps to help keep them cool if I was to get low on gas.
