I just got a 95 6spd camaro z28 and is is bogging down really bad and dies often when coming to a stop. The car has had the smog system removed and has a lot of vaccum lines blocked off.Would this be causing my problems....?? confused..could it be the mass air sensor? pleas help.

what do you mean by "bogging down". when you accelerate???

yeah at low rpms it is missing mostly when taking off and not so much in the higher rpms.

before the car dies does the check engine light come on? Check for codes...

to be honest the engine light comes on about 1 minute after i am driving it.

Well in that case you have a code/codes set in the ECM. IIRC 1995 is an OBDII connector under the dash and you need a scanner to get the codes. Also I think Autozone will scan your car for free. A laptop and the right cable and tuning sofware will do the same, but youneed to have all that junk to begin with.

no i havent got around to getting it scanned i will do that and let you guys know.....any ideas what it might be just knowing what i have described?

Driver error?
Does it have traction control?
Are the RPMs steady?

There are soooooo many variables with what you have described.... instead of hypotheically analyizing your issues..... come back with the codes QUICK and the peops on this site will point you right in the right dirrection.
