stepped headers???

How can you tell if they are stepped, can you tell by looking at them, I know of kooks and lpp, as far as brands, any others for the LT1, The reason I am asking is because I found a really good deal, the guy says they are stepped LT, 3" at the end and they go into a 3" y pipe, he's not sure of the brand, but the price is nice for what he is asking. :D

get a up close shot of the headers. the primaries are what is stepped. each individual primary should increase in diameter at some point with a visual seam and weld.
