I'm slowly starting to gather parts for my H/C swap this winter and I'm not sure on what to do for the fuel injectors. Can I just by some used LS2 injectors and use them on my LT1? My car will be a stock short block LT1 with P&P heads (most likely something around LE1's) and a custom cam about the size of the CC 503. The car will have a full exhaust with full bolt-ons except for the EWP. Thinking i'm gonna need around 30-32 lb injectors. If the LS2 stockers won't work any suggestions on what cars have ones that will?

many do go with the SVO red top 30lb as wellDoes that mean the LS2 injectors would fit also? I just suggested them because you can get a used set for under $150 shipped.

IIRC the LS2 injectors will physically fit in place, but the connectors may be different. Let me look into it for you.

IF they are the same dimensions and connector as the LS1-6 application they will for sure work.

FWIW, 30lb should be plenty for what you are doing... Just make sure you get it tuned properly or it will be worthless.

Thanks for the advice so far. This is one of the few areas about my car that I'm not very knowledgeable about and I hate buying parts 2x. My Comp pro mags (1.6,NSA,7/16) will be here tomorrow. :driving:

I'm pretty certain LS injectors are not a direct plug and play.
For the small upgrade you need, you should be able to find a TON of good used injectors for sale CHEAP. Keep your eyes peeled on here, and check out LS1tech. They do also have an LT1 section and lots of good LT1 parts deals can be found there...
For your setup, I've heard of lots of folks using SVO injectors, like DevonsZ28 above.

Oh well. When you're on Tech a lot, you just start reading and responding to stuff.

Im not going to open a new thread for the same question, I have to change my injectors and Im thinking about going with a set of LS1 injectors cuz I can get them really cheap, or going with a set of 30#, my car still internally stock but has the bolt ons listed on my sig, and Imma be running a 100 shot on a wet kit, is it worth it to run 30# or should I just go with LS1 injectors?

Curious... what is the advantage of running LS1 injectors? Don't LS1's run a lot higher fuel pressure which is why their injectors are rated higher?

Like I said...I don't think LS1 injectors will work.

cool, soo... go with the 30#? Ill be installing a cam and a tune somewhere around feb-march timeframe

30# should be good, as long as they'll provide 30# at 43.5 psi (base). Then, you could always get an adjustable FPR and crank up the pressure a bit if needed.

d 30# injectors require tunning? or I can just drop 'em in there and keep driving?

Needs some tuning. It would be a pretty minor tweak, I'd get in contact with a mail order tuner.

just did some research, I really don't think I need 30# for a while, I read that you can run 24#s close to 400whp, my car is has stock internals so it should be somewhere around 270-285 whp and all Im planning to put on it is a cam so that wont get me anywhere near 400, and my nitrous system is wet, anyways thanks for the advice, i fucking love this board, you guys go straight to the answer
