I am getting one of those adjustable ones. I would like to know what the adjustment does and how I can benefit from it. Also, since I have a SC would it be a good idea? Or should I stick with a not adjustable one? Thanks.

The cars are tuned (or supposed to be) around the stock FP which is 43.5psi with the vacuum line detached.
If you get an aftermarket one, make sure it is boost referenced, as this will allow the pressure to rise with boost.

Well you see I have a aftermarket FPR on it right now that has no markings or model number and I cant find anything like it. It is going bad because I tested it and it failed the tests. It has the vacuum line going to it. What FPR should I get and if I get the adjustable one, what would I set it to? Thanks.

I have an aeromotive AFPR on mine and my buddy has one on his turbo regal also. You should remove the vacuum line and set it to 43.5 (or as close as possible) and then have the car tuned around that.
With boost, it should increase as boost increases.

Why do you recommend not having the vacuum line?

You just remove the line to set the pressure, reattach it afterwords. It's just to obtain the correct pressure setting.

Oh so you mean tune it with out the line to 43.5 then put the line back on?

Yes remove the line, set the pressure to 43.5 then put the line back on then do your tuning or whatever else needs to be done
