Spring rate ??

I tried searching but didn't find much. I have strange DA coilovers that use the 14" X 2.5" ID spring. I orignally was told to go with the 138# spring which was way to soft and bottomed out the shock with the adjuster all the way up! Strange only shows these springs up to 200# which is what should arrive on Wensday (6-17-09).

-Does anyone else use 14" X 2.5" ID springs?
-What weight are you using?

My car weighs 3462 w/ me in it and front end is at 1700 +/- some my scale sheet is at home!

Got it figured out, Strange sells up 350#. They only list up to 200# on their site, 300# on the way!:D

I think most people with a LT1 run a 325# spring in the front. I've seen a few LS1 cars with weight reduction run a 275# spring.

On my car which was 3175 with me in it at the shootout I have a 275# spring in the front. So I would say the 300# should work for you.

I have 1752 on the front axle and 3462 total weight w/ me in it. Madman reccomended the 300# we'll see what happens!
