I know in the F-body's, they were known for driveshaft rumble after highway speeds.

without going into great detail i was escorted by 2 state troopers to the small airport where i was met by a pilot officer that flew across the highway as i was "testing my car" he asked a few questions then proceeded to let me have it,in a verbal manner. i popped my hood they all looked at it! i was released at that time :hail::secret: there is more to the story but you know the gist of it.......:face_shocked:

I haven't had our new LT1 that fast (being that I am still learning how to drive 6sp) but our old maunal LT1 I am pretty sure I had it at almost 100, would have been fast if it didn't have a govern(spelling is prolly wrong, please forgive me I am still learning the car lingo...)

And I've been as fast as 5th gear at 6k rpm with 4.10's on a 25.7" tire will get you.

Uh, maybe 130.....max? I dont know for sure. My brother buried the speedometer in it when he owned it before me when it was bone stock.

I have had my car at 155+ and went over a small hill and on the way down the front of the car didn't feel like it was coming down. I about shit my pants. The hill was small enough that if you were doing 60 you wouldn't notice it.

My brother got air in my car not too long ago. Too fast over a steep hill. It was fun, but he should stop pulling Dukes of Hazzard stunts in my car and jump his Corvette instead :disagree:

pegged the speedo and touched the factory rev limiter. i think it was 161 or right around there. only did that once

now its around 120ish in the 1/4

Seems excessive... STI's are geared so short he must have been in 6th gear to stay up that high with you

Hell stock they are about in 5th gear in the quarter

been devistating to many people . He wasnt stock by any means and i wasnt
gonna have him run me down at the top end .

It'd be fun to take her out and really find out what she'll do because I wasn't even close to redline and I have 3.42's with 275/40/17's.

i would say over 165 in 6th at 6000 with my 28in tire but who knows after the guage pegs out lol but that was with the help of a 175 shot and you gotta love 6 speeds:metal:
