I broke the stocker so Im going to summit friday to get a new one.
Im looking at the UMI and Edelbrock tranny mounted ones. I cant afford an expensive tunnel mounted one so which would you pick.

You mean the adjustable edelbrock's right?I've got a non-adjustable edelbrock on mine and i've had zero problems with it.I bought mine from my brother for cheap so if i had to buy a new one i'd buy spohn, bmr or a umi adjustable ta as they are all quality companys.

I don't know which ones they were but I've seen at least two threads on the other site where people were complaining about broken Edelbrook TA's. Edelbrook usually has good stuff IDK what happened with their TA's!

Well summit doesnt stock UMI, so I went with the BMR. It was more expensive but has a tubular end which is supposed to be stronger than the UMI flat end.
Gonna install it in the morning if its not raining and see if I can get the pinion angle right and hopefully cure my horrid case of wheel hopping.

Got'r Done and it was kinda a pain in the ass, but not too bad.
WHEEL HOP IS GONE. :) Thank goodness, now I can actually hit the gas under 10 mph.

BMR is good stuff. I've had zero issues with any of their products.
