I've heard LC's is one of the best places to go for really great Bar-B-Que in Kansas City. So, Friday evening that is where I'm planning to go. :chef:

I may stop by the track on Friday evening/night just to see what's going on, however, I don't have any plans to run my car Friday. I may go by the track first if we get there early enough, and then go out to eat.

My first time down the track will be during the Modified N/A qualifying rounds Saturday.

I can't believe we've got people from across the country headed to Kansas City for the Shoot-Out and I'm the only LTX person in the coutry that's excited about getting some world-class KC Bar-B-Que while I'm there! :chef:

Also, a fews beers to go with the Bar-B-Que :cheers:

I'm with you on that one... just didn't know if I was going to be there, or at the track.
I'm riding with Mr Neil350.... so it looks like we're in for some awesome BBQ.

I know you're from Houston, but are you guys going to be in the Texas-Oklahoma convoy with the people from Austin?

Nope :(
One guy couldn't get Thursday off from work, so we are heading out after work Thur. Looking like shooting for Dallas Thursday night.
Then again... it might be worth it to drive late Thursday and catch up with the rest of the crew in OK, then we can roll with the convoy on Friday. But that could end up a late night which is a bad start to a long weekend.

I'm now doing a last-minute converter change on my car (the new converter is being built at this very moment at a secret high-tech facility somewhere in the US :secret:) and I still have to install it when it arrives.

So, depending how quicly I receive the new convert and when I get it installed (maybe Friday in-time for Friday night T-n-T if I'm lucky). But, if I'm not able to make any runs locally with the new converter, I may make some runs Friday evening at KCIR. Then go eat some Bar-B-Que at LC's.

i think we have alot better choices here than LC's, and arthur bryants is too expensive.

Last year the guys from the SyTy (Syclone/Typhoon) Nationals went to Gates BBQ in a big group on their way back to the Hotel from the track.

Gate's is also the closest to the Track. Just head north from the track to 40 take a left and take 40 just past Sterling....

I'd be down if we go to gate's :metal:

Never been to that one, I always go to 435 and State Line, which is the one the Syclone/Typhoon group went to as well.
