i'm going with an uncatted y once i install long tubes
i'm in alabama tho, i think i'm the only one WITH a cat outta all my friends lol
imo, whether or not you have to pass emissions would be the deciding factor.

dont waiste your money on the cats.. we all know our cars are bad on emissions anyways :)

Emissions and exhaust tone would be the deciding factor for you. Some cat-backs sound much raspier without cats. But for only $25 more for cats that's a pretty good deal. Don't worry about the performance factor, cats hardly rob any HP at all.

I bought the pace setter y pipe fro 132 shipped and just put a flowtech muffler on my car and im very pleased with the way it sounds compared to the stock muffler. i would get it without the cat. HP is HP, my car is a lil raspy but i like it.:D
