you may loose a little bit of clearance. but you will have enough clearance to drive around... i drove around with a very low hanging cat on a lowered car and hardly ever scraped. it really depends on where you live
I can still pull my car on an alignment rack with no issues. Jethot LTs through a 3" Y-pipe.

How much do intrax lower it? I personally would try to stick around -1.2" but I plan on eventually going with a -1.6" drop and LTs. It won't be a DD though.

I have intrax and pacesetter long tubes. my headers scrape often but not near as much as my true duals. lol. But you will be okay, just be careful. I drive mine everyday. And MO roads are terrible.

I've heard of several ground clearance issues with Pacesetter products. My boss has them on his 95 and his is stock height and he hits on everything. Mostly the problem is the design of their y-pipe.
In my opinion a better option would be some Hooker LT's and a Hooker y-pipe. There is one for sale here - http://ltxtech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5052
You can see it has clearance so that it can fit tighter to the floor board.

From what I've read/seen, Hookers hang a lot lower than Pacesetters, and pacesetters are one of the better brands in terms of "tucking up" against the car.
This is JoeliusZ28's car, '95 Z28 stock ride height (275/40/17s) with pacesetter LTs and I believe the ORY is custom.

I'll take pics of mine tonight. My hookers are tucked up in there really nice, I do have a custom y-pipe though. Did mine before hooker had one avaialble for LT cars.

I've been happy with my Hooker LT and custom y. front is ver low...coil overs and the air damn hits often but the headers are OK.

Yes sir. My headers are about 3" from the ground I think. I can get a measurement here in a few.

how much you lowered
how much you lowered
I'm not 100% how much the springs dropped it. I'd have to guess about 1.5''.
I went and measured the whole exhaust setup.
Drivers side lowest spot on the header is 2 3/8" with the flange on the y-pipe being right at 2.5"
Passenger side header low is 2 5/8" with the flange being around 3"
And the bullet is 3" from the ground as well.
I can pull into driveways with curbs and I haven't once drug my headers on anything.
Its a miracle actually :)

Here are some pics finally. The car is on the lift so I tried to get good angles showing how tight it fits the cars floor.

^^^My pacesetters sat up just like that on my old formula. I scraped once but that was on one of those things they fill up the gas tanks with at gas stations and it almost took out my air dam to.
I think it just hit or miss really with hookers and pacesetters. I want them new lpp headers to come out but it looks like its never gonna happen.
