Ive done searching but all anyone suggests is the ARP 1". I have those and they back out every 3 weeks. And theyve been in for a year. So I want some locking bolts but anyone got a part number? I went to Oreillys and they said they didnt have stg 8 locking bolts. So can I get some links or suggestions please

That's weird, I have ARP 1" stainless bolts and have never had any problems with them. I re-torqued them a few weeks after install and they're still tight. I check them every now and then just for my own personal security and they're all still tight.

If you're having problems with them, get the Stage-8 locking bolts, or Percy's locking bolts. I'd just order them from Summit or Jegs.

ARP's with the 3/8" hex. Makes getting to them and tightening them a breeze!

I cant seem to find anything on summit. When I search by vehicle/or motor and then I go to look for "part type" they never have what im looking for.

*edit* disregard, wasn't aware they're not available anymore. BUMMER. Was planning on using them myself.

ARP400-1209 is all we use including myself on my own car

if tightened you will not see an issue with these

My guess is you didn't tighten them enough. You have to crank those suckers on. Torque spec is like 30 ft-lb, and that's a lot to do with a box end. My ARP bolts usually take like 2 weeks of tightening to seat.

Those are the exact bolts I have. I must not be putting enough muscle in because they literally come loose every month and a half atleast on my DD. I actually have 2 missing now because I didnt check them and they backed out and fell out.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Did ya finally get a brain and take your stock bolts out?....Congrats

Also I've found that studs are the shit! Although for you LTx guys it might be difficult to install in the car.

Not enough clearance around the primaries for studs on ours. You LS guys are lucky, you got the big block bolt pattern.

You had me scared Spiers, saying these kept backing out. All these dudes, say they work fine for them, so I'll just stick w/ them too, plus they're pretty cheap.
