I have found some on Summit for around $130, some on Advanced for $155 and the same for Napa.
I'm about tapped out from my build and I'm just trying to find the best deal on a starter any ideas on where else to look? Can you use any other sbc starters and if so which ones?
Thanks,
Dan

As much as it pains me to send you here (I work for NAPA), I found a decently priced unit on Rock Auto (supposedly it's a new Delco). Here is a link.

Here's a thought: Autozone sells a lifetime warranty reman LT4 starter for about $120. Give them your LT1 as a core. Shady, I know, but I work there and will be doing the same thing. :D
Note* Just don't exchange your core on the spot. The difference in appearance will be noticeable and you might get questioned. Pay the core charge and come back a couple days later with the old starter.
