My name is Chad, I like cars. :jest:
I currently own a 1996 Trans am, that was ready to receive a forged 383, heads/cam, nitrous, etc. Unfortunately I have since had to sell the parts, as I'm moving to Iowa, where my girlfriend is attending school (Cedar Falls). I'm in the process of cleaning up a stock motor to put back in the car, so I can sell it, and make the financial part of moving a little easier on me.
I also have a 1984 Camaro, just bought it a few months ago. It has a fresh 355, Dart heads, cam, built tranny, 3k stall, 9 bolt rear, edelbrock carb/intake/headers, and various other parts. I'm planning on getting the heads ported/decked this winter, as well as installing a much larger cam, as street driveability won't be as much of an issue, living ~10 miles from the dragstrip. I'm working on a nitrous setup, as well.
I genuinely love talking about cars in general, and although I do have my preferences on which types I like, I still appreciate any tastefully done car.
I'm sure I'll enjoy my stay here, there seems to be a wealth of knowledge already :D

I've been working on pics for it, but none seem to turn out like I want. It's more of a "driving" car than a "show" car, if you know what I mean.. :secret:
Here's a couple pics of a previous Camaro I had, I think Phantomzer0 will probably recognize it, possibly some others. I had to part it out, as the bald summer tires didn't like the black ice that was still on the road the first day of summer. :(

I'm thinking about chrome c6's myself. I really like them, what size are the ones on your old ride?

17's and 18's. Tire width was 245's in front, and 275's in back. Definitely gave the car a little more "raked" stance, yet didn't make it look as if the rear wheels were far too big, or anything. I fell in love with those wheels the minute I saw them in a photoshop on my car, and had to have them.
They are definitely on the heavy side, however, at least with the replica wheels. One of my rear rims (with tire) weighed around 60 lbs.

Damn! Well they'd be going on mah v6, so it's not like I'm trying to go fast or anything

So true.. I'm sure I could've gone better than a 14.4 on 100 shot without them boulders underneath

Yeah dude, your wheels were a BITCH to lift up and put on my car. Thanks for selling them to me :jest:

Thanks man. Your Camaro was clean as hell. But I'm sure the T/A pleases you more.

Well, the TA hasn't moved under it's own power for about 5 months, but it sure did when it was running. I'm hoping this 3rd gen will be a little quicker when I do a little headwork and throw a bigger cam in.. If nothing else, i'll throw some juice on it. I haven't had a decently quick car for quite a while now.. And everything seems slow since I sold the CBR.

Haha, bikes will do that to you. I almost bought an 85 Iroc that had a shitload done to the engine, but the body was falling apart. It had alot of mods, and shaven heads with a huge cam was one of them. It was a fun drive.
