Receive Text Messages for New PM's in your In-Box!

Gotta run out, but your waiting on a PM from a user? With this handy new hack you can have your Private Messages be sent directly to your cell phone! The Message will go to your inbox and your cell phone will receive a notification about the message, allowing you to keep tabs on your important conversations, that you just can't be at your desktop for!

By default all of our current users will have this option enabled for use! After a few easy steps, you will be setup and ready to roll!

You can enable and disable this option at any time!


Setting up your SMS Options:


Step1:

Navigate to your USER CP, Shown Here:

Step3:

Select your cell phone provider from the drop down menu
Shown below is T-Mobile
After your selection is made, be sure it is correct, and continue

Step4:

Enter your phone number
Confirm your phone number
Do not use spaces or hyphens in your phone number, the system will not accept these
Double check and continue

Step5:

Select a confirmed email address from the list
It does not matter which one it is, as long as it is confirmed
The email you are selecting belongs to your provider and is the virtual mail box for your text messages
Confirm and continue

Step6:

Test the Message!
Click the link shown near the read arrow in the image below. This will dispatch a test message with a pin number that will be used to confirm you received the message
Follow the on screen instructions and proceed to the next step
Double check and continue

Enter the pin number and continue

Step8:

Configure your settings!
Your phone number, provider, and email should all be in the first box at the top! The email address shown is your virtual box that you selected earlier, not your actual email address
If you wish to receive messages to your phone, select the check box by the red arrow. This can be toggled on and off as much as you wish
The box by the Blue arrow has been disabled for all users. Checking it will do nothing. So you may as well just leave it unchecked. This feature has been disabled due to spammers
Configure how many messages you want to receive. You can leave a 0 in the field to have unlimited messages sent
Select Save Settings and your DONE! Now enjoy your SMS Messages!
