I am going to an auto and have decided to put my 6 speed up for sale. The trans was used for ~4000 miles behind a stock lt1. The trans consists of the following:
T56 from 94 Trans Am rebuilt by RPM transmissions in Indiana. This trans has the level V (5) rebuild and shifts perfectly. The trans is in excellent condition. The rebuild cost $2395 from RPM transmissions not including the T56 core. I have all the receipts from the work. The level V rebuild consists of the following:
All of our LEVEL V six speed transmissions include:
Media blast transmission case
Solid keys
Bronze fork pads
Bronze shifter bushing (n/a for Corvette)
Steel 3-4 shifter fork
RPM modified 1-2 shifter fork
Hand fit sliders and hubs
New Compressed Carbon blocking rings
Performance Metal Micropolish
Assembly to RPM specifications
I would like $1500 obo plus shipping.
I am also selling other driveline components to make an entire t56 swap if needed. Please see my other posts for details and let me know if you have any questions. I can e-mail pictures to anyone interested.
