I know theres a bunch of them lurking. I know of 2 or 3 in my small town area alone (trying to track them down and ask them to check this site out btw).:secret:

I know these pics have been posted here already, but what the hell. I seriouslly need to go snap some new pics of my baby.

It's a 1994 Iron headed LT1 with a Ford EDIS8 DIS conversion (replaced the Ford coils for standard GMs). It's all controlled by a Megasquirt (versions 2.2pcb) controlling both fuel and spark.

Still not done with it. Need to finish the fuel system, get the cage in it, finish the exhaust and then tackle the body work I want done.

I went with a stock LT for now so I could work out the bugs of the EDIS swap and the MS swap first, without having to worry about a new setup as well. once I have it dialed in. It is being replaced with a AFR headed 396 LT with a 200 shot. :metal: (and yes, the 12 bolt will go in then ha)

Maybe next year...

Sweet swaps Adam! What mounts did you use for the first gen? It seems to sit pretty low.

BAd Dad, what version MS is that with the dual serial ports? Or is that a custom job? Is it running the fual and spark firmware?

Damn thats a badass truck, ive always wanted a lowered v8 swap s10.

Thanks, not sure how it sitting so low is going to affect traction/handling. It has a mini-c notch in the frame due to how low it sits. The top of the differential housing is about 2" from the bottom of the bed. So it may have to come back up a lil, I dunno yet.

MSII currently going thru the learning curve fuel only.

Have you successfully run this system?

Not on this engine. Still need to get my fuel system sorted out, but that can't be done till I decide what I am doing with the rear of the truck (do I 4 link or not).

I did get it running on a 95' G20 TBI setup (fuel only as well) before I sent the van to the scrapper. Easy as pie with GM hardware, and not that bad to tune once you figure out the layout of the software.

Big blue was fun... a little too rough to ride in the bed... but nice view. You don't realize how big it is till you try to jump into it :D

Mine is MOSTLY back together... still a bunch of brackets to make and some wiring to mess with... but it runs.

The rear leafs are a little stiff, but at 80-85 MPH on the highway its fine. That truck is a blast to drive. I wish it was at the house to drive. It sitting in the field.

I really thought/thinking hard about just shoving my motor into a s10 and not deal with the hassle of working in an fbody engine bay.

My friend is dopping one into a 95 sonoma with a TCI 7004r, heads, cam and a procharger and all his work is immaculate so i cant wait until its done.

Oh and to OP love the track, actually have your page bookmarked from a year ago when i was looking for an s10.
