ok so im looking into a new muffler right now i got a flowmaster on there & people keep bad mouthing flowmaster why is that?

1.Im either gonna go with another flowmaster not sure which one. which one is a very loud but good sounding one?

2.cherrybomb

3.hooker aerochambers

which ever one i choose im gonna put pacesetter headers & a E exhaust cut-out

People bad mouth the flowmaster because they dont flow much better than stock. If you like how it sounds and your going to install a cutout then keep it on there. Hooker is quieter than the flowmaster, and personally I wouldnt put a cherry bomb on a car, they sound good for a truck imo.

The 80 Series muffler doesn't flow much better than stock but the 40 series is a bit better.

The way I see it, get the sound you want and make up the horsepower elsewhere. I mean if I was worried about horsepower and not sound I would've bought a LS1. ;)

do you have the 80 series on there now? if so go with a 3" single in and single out 40 series. i ran it that way on my t/a and it sounds mean with a set of long tubes and off road ypipe..

what do u want? brutally loud? more power? a decent mix? these cars can get silly loud. id go magnaflow if you want a good quality decent sounded not as loud sound. or loudmouth if u want to be obnoxious at all times

HAHAHA I've heard LS1 owners even say their cars sound like vaccuum cleaners. Anyway, stay away from cherry bombs. They sound great on large-stroke truck motors, but weird on LT1s. Many people love the sound the Hooker Aerochamber, Magnaflow, SLP LM, and Corsa. I believe GMMG get's the popular vote, but it's extremely expensive.
