im trying to get rid of my exhaust for a more free flowing (for more power) when i drop the 396 in i have a magnaflow with a E cutout in it i want something QUIET but free flowing so i can still drive it on the street and be nice to other motorists :) and not get tickets...

I dont think quiet and 396 can go in the same sentence. :D

I really think of magnaflow as one of the quieter mufflers. Maybe you could put a bullet in the y pipe to help a little.

Maybe just get a restrictive muffler for street driving with an electric cutout for when you want all out performance?

Spintech is not quiet

I have a Magnaflow 4" and feel it is pretty quiet for a 4" muffler and it flows great. 1HP gain with cutout open

You have a part # for the magnaflow muffler you're using?

That sounds awesome! I think you have just convinced me to put a cutout on my Formula too. :claps:

Wow that sounds great! Can you post your cam specs please! I'm guessing something tighter than a 110

I love my four inch cat back. She gets rowdy when I drop the hammer but reasonable at cruising. Mufflex with a Flowmaster single outlet.
