abs inop my a$$

So driving my car the past couple days my ABS inop light has popped on. I've done my walkthrough And a test stop...everything is fine...the kicker is she only comes on when either the engine warms up or if cold I hit about 40 MPH. Kinda lost on this.

What year is your car? I believe the ABS works through the use of a reluctor wheel (I think) and if its dirty, or if the sensor is shot, It may think something is not right. Just a guess.

3rd brake light burnt out? That was an issue with the abs light.

the wiring to the ABS parts in the front wheels went bad on mine. The length of the wire that moves when the wheel turns is what went out.


it would randomly come and go like you are describing.
