Alright so Ithe firebird is totalled out, and I been looking for a 97 camaro ss lt1 car with a 6 speed, I want a camaro ss that's an lt1 cause everyone has ss ls1 cars and I like the lt1
Well I found one it looks to be in good shape and taken care of, only down side is that, it has 220000 miles on it, he's asking 3500 but is it really even worth buying the car just looking for your guys' input on this, really don't wanna go LS lol
Thanks again guys

I agree with what Fastbird says. What condition is the car in overall and how has it been maintained?

Hmmm....not the best pics, but it looks like it might be in ok shape. I don't like the "Handfull of quirks, call to discuss" part though. With those miles, probably $2500-3000 is what I'd offer TOPS.

What's your budget? Obviously if you've only got a sub $5000 budget you're not going to be able to afford a really clean low mileage one, but that being said...If you spend $4k on that and it needs a paint job, new shocks, etc... You'll have close to $9000 in by the time you've got it looking nice which may make it better just to go out and get a well maintained low mileage one.
That being said I'd still definitely go check it out, and if it's in decent shape I'd say it'd be a pretty good pickup. It's amazing what a good detailing job and a little TLC will do to a car.

Check the numbers to see if it is a true SS and also it looks like it doesnt have the SS hood

For me personally I would go with an OBD1 car all day long over an OBDII car. You can clone the SS look with a spoiler and a hood. Not sure how the vehicle inspection laws are where you are or what you plan on doing with the car in the long run though.
