SOLD

Was freshly cleaned and rebuilt before we installed it this summer.
Has maybe 40 min of idle/run/test time on it.
New freeze plugs, rings and bearings.

Block is from a 94 LT1
Zero-Decked
Studded ARP mains

Forged -4cc Ross pistons (+.030")
Forged Eagle Rods
Modified/lightened SBC crank (cast, not forged)
Static CR is about 11.5:1 using LE2 heads and .039" gaskets.
(Slightly lower using stock heads, slightly higher with thinner gaskets)

Crank and rod bearings are both +.010"
Internals had under 18K miles on them before the rebuild.

Comes with an SFI-approved flexplate (needs 8g + 12g to make neutral)
Comes with new Melling HV pump.
Comes with Accessory bracket, mounting bolt is slightly larger than stock.

I purchased this from 2Formulas (http://www.mofbody.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=35150&highlight=) back in March.
When I installed it, I found that it vibrated as though it were out of balance.
I've since removed it from my car and replace it with a 383.

$1350 as-is (IE: you take it apart, rebalance and reassemble)
$1550 if I take it apart and have it internally-balanced
$1900 if I also have it professionally reassembled by K&M

I'm taking a loss on the deal; please, no lowball offers.
I'm looking to sell this to someone who can make use of it.
If you find any problems that I've missed, I'll take care of them or buy it back from you.
The last thing I want is for someone to be dissatisfied with their purchase.

I'd really prefer to sell this locally, it's not really something you want to ship.
But I'd be willing to drive to meet someone if they are interested.

No one needs a forged 355?

As stated in the original post, you can buy it as-is and I'll pay for anything broken that
I didn't know about. Or you can buy it balanced and I'll make sure it's done right.

Will also consider trades +/- cash.

Stuff I could use
- 12 bolt or S60 rear end
- Direct-port N20 kit, capable of 150-300
- Built 700R4 or 4L60 that bolts to an LT1.

Or anything that might be easy to sell and recoup the cash.

Still very interested, would most likely have you rebalance and reassemble for $1900. Possibly meet you somewhere between here and there if thats ok with you?

Sure, I could meet you in Omaha or something like that.
When you're ready for it, let me know and I'll take it to the shop for balance/assembly.
I'll need a partial deposit since I'm going to have to spend $550 to have that done for you.

Paypal is jmontign@yahoo.com
