I have pacesetters on my car and love them. Great price and great quality. They went in pretty easy and have good clearence, and dont bang on anything, just dont use their y pipe.
I have no experience with dynatech though.

Pacesetter LT un-coated here, i love them, for the price/quality they can't be beat, damn good constructed header, & i've seen some cheap azz headers in my time lol, i was very impressed.

I was leaning toward the pacesetters then came upon the dynatech ones. They are within 10-20 dollars of each other. What is th issue with the y pipe ironoutlaw?

you can go with the y pipe and make it work but from my experience it just hangs down to low and rattles on everything. I would personally get a shop to fab one up but thats just me. A lot of people run them without problems though. Just my .02

I have the uncoated pacesetters and like others I have owned I like them, there are better but then your talking 300+ more for those. Pacesetter has always been a decent to good quality header depending on vehicle.
The paint peels... I wish they would send them unpainted so you could paint them with high heat paint yourself. But other then that I am happy with them as I am with my other vehicle using them.
On the Y-Pipe Issue I pref to have my own made *Shrugs* costs about the same but come with flanges and already welded in place for 100-110 when I have my exhaust guy do it and its def nice.

look closely at dyna techs. you HAVE to make a y pipe for them and collectors are not included
*edit* look at the LPP headers, i have them...they dont fit the car the greatest but great quality and youll never have to buy another set

I still have the y pipe that was connected to my old headers. It looks horrible but does have a cut out on it and flanges. Guess I'll get it adjusted for the pacesetters.

I'm ordering from summit so I can put on summit card and take advantage of the Zero intrest for 6 months. I don't think they carry lpp parts but they are nice peices.

I run the Pacesetter Ory, it fits just fine & doesn't rattle on anything, its just a PITA to get it in place, ground clearance is great also, but my car is not lowered. I wrapped it & the fuel lines from heat, works great.

Ordered the pacesetter coated ones. I was going to buy stainless ones at first and looked into the lpp's but then my block turned out to be cracked:( so the money for headers (and then some) went to getting a new block, splayed caps, and machine work to fit my forged 355 bottom end. I found the pacesetters cheaper from another vender and summit price matched them :metal: saved around $50 bucks

I have coated pasesetter LT's on my Formula. They fit awesome, sound great, and werent that bad to install. You cant go wrong getting them. Theyre the all-around best header on the market IMO.
