^ The thread I started about my upcoming future project.

I picked up a body about 3 hours drive away from me, it's an original 1927 model T roadster steel body! It needs a bit of help (a few patch panels here and there, a couple of bullet holes filled in), but it's 84 years old!

I picked up a rolling chassis with a 10 bolt already in it, full suspension, everything has hem joints, with brake master cylinder, etc. about 6 hours away from me in Rolla, MO.

And of course, I have the 78,000 mile LT1/T56 in my garage that came out of my '97....just begging for a cam/valvetrain swap and a refresh (new timing set, opti, etc).

This is an UNDER $5,000 hot rod build. I guarantee it will look badass, and I'm sticking to the budget, no matter what it takes. I'm doing well so far, the body and frame total up at $2,650. About $400 worth of panels and body work supplies, and the body should be ready to paint. The paint setup is $150 (Hot Rod Flatz from TCP Global's Kustom Shop). All the other stuff should fall into place. Keep your eyes peeled for WTB ads by me!
I'll be needing:

CC503 cam
Moly pushrods
1.6 NSA rockers w/guideplates
Appropriate spring setup
Stock steel driveshaft (in good shape, but can have light surface rust and bad u-joints)
new or slightly used timing set
new or slightly used opti ('97 motor)
30# SVO's or something equivalent to around 33#-40# injectors
alternator relocation kit
alternator (used in good shape)

Be on the lookout for pics as they come! (There's a couple in the thread i posted above)
