Where did the money go?

Admin and/moderators. When I signed up for this forum, I donated $50.00 to the Shootout goal. At the time I joined it was sitting at $620.00. Should'nt have went to $670.00 after,or am I missing something? Maybe it takes a while to post? It's been at least a week. I just wanna make sure LTXtech.com gets that money, as I wanted to contribute what I could. Thanks.

I'm not for sure how the donation progress bar works, it could pull the information from a paypal / donation database, but it may be very well "static" meaning the admins might only go in and update it every once in a while.

I'm sure one of the admins can clarify this once they see this thread.

I think it cumulates and then suddenly gets added. It was stuck at $500 (iirc) for a while and then one day it went to $620 just like that.

Gotcha. Glad I could donate:) I have never owned a car like this, much less an LT1. I love these Gen 2 engines!!:)

Yeah same here, $50 about a month ago. All I want is a sticker for the back window of the Silverado SS :-( (and to help out of course).

Mods dont actually have anything to do with the donation bar, so thats most likely why no mods have actually posted here yet.

The money donated to this site either goes to our yearly title sponsorship of the LTX Shootout OR to site costs. Nothing else.

As far as I know, its an account thats controlled by one of the Admins, but off the top of my head I dont know who. My guess would be SR/PZ or Fastbird.

Im sure it will be updated soon when someone can access it and update it.

Hey guys, sorry about the long delay. I've been extremely busy with school and work. Anyways, just to clear things up, the money is safe and in a private account in my name. The money goes from your pay pal to mine. I have to manually accept the donation through v bulletin. That donation bar is not an accurate indicator of the money received. Like I said, I have to select "received" on my own through the system. So that is why sometimes after you donate it doesn't reflect immediately.
