First of all, I did none of the welding or piping work. This was all done by Hi-Tuned Performance in Arnold, MO.

it's getting an inspection today, so i will be driving it for the first time today.

I still gotta run my meth injection lines, and finish the interior.

this kit was built with the intentions of putting it on a better short/long block, and the one it's on now is not all that optimal for it. currently it's a 10.5-1 compression 383, with ported lt4 heads.

Wow. One the the nicest LT1 turbo builds I have seen. Should run real good even with the motor you have. Ever thought about E85? That would work real good with your compression. Any plans on making and selling this kit?

I just drove it and got into the throttle a little bit, it feels like it pulls pretty damn hard.

I noticed ZERO lag.

That set up is sick. I think I have a good idea of how I'd like to do one now. What turbo are you running?

its just a gt4294 right now. i will be getting a better turbo for the new shortblock.

I got a KILLER deal on this turbo brand new, so when i sell it used, i will still make money on it.

also just noticed, why no intercooler? it definately makes for a much cleaner set-up without the additional piping, but you're not worried about intake temperatures? or do you think the meth/water injection is going to cool it enough to keep it safe?

its carberated, (blow-thru) and those generally don't need an intercooler since the fuel enters the air further up in system, so it has more time to absorb most of the heat.
