I have a 93 with just under 100k on the clock. The question is how much can it really handle? I was thinking of doing H/C , supporting mods, boltons, and maybe some spray while I'm up here in PA for school. Would it be able to last for awhile like that? Or should I buy another block, build the bottom end and drop it all in at once? Trying to stay somewhat budget mided seeing as im in school still and have to drive the car everyday, but I know if I build the bottom end I will go crazy as batshit with it and end up with a mighty powerful LT Juan. What can I say it runs in the family:D.

my car now has 15Xxxx miles with a cc306 that I would estimate between 330-360whp... to be honest I'd save the money for a bottom end also..
It should be find with h/c but I wouldn't push it with spray on top of that

if in doubt pull it out!
since gm built these motors with mild performance in mind. i feel you would definately benefit from freshening the bottom end..performance bearings and rings possibly even some arp main studs and new scat rods w/speed-pro 2256s will give you a dependable low budget......

I rock a stock botom end. 11.72 @ 114.44 H/C N/A. I won't spray it though unless it's maybe a 100 shot, nothing more than that.
