I have a 93 formula with all the factory suspension. I resently put 4.10 gears in and now i can't hook up at all lol. The car has 17x10 rims with 315's so i don't think tires are the issue but i know the old suspension is not helping anything. Could you guys give me some pointers on what to look at to get this thing stuck to the ground. Thanks!

Start out with LCAs and if lowered you probably will want relocation brackets. From there you will go to a PHB to center the rear and to an Adjustable Torq Arm.
Let me know if I can help provide you the parts you want.

^^ There you go, tires do make a large difference at the track. If your trying to hook on the street it's gonna take some work. This might help explain how the suspension works:

Tires, tires, tires! I could break a 315 street tire loose at 55 mph with no clutch dump, just nailing it in 2nd. This was just a H/C motor.
I've personally watched bone stock suspension with 26x11.50 ET Streets go 1.4x 60' in a bolt-on, nitrous LS1.
Relocation brackets and LCAs (adjustable) should be your first buy like Shon said. In fact I believe I bought my UMI pieces from him a few years back

Get your alignment dead on! Also if you ever get an aftermarket rear you'll likely need adjustable LCAs to square the rear.

and when you make some real power and want to stuff a 28/29" tire under there, they will definitely be needed. The cost isn't that much more so it's best to go ahead and do adjustable IMO.
