Quick question, replacing the fuel pump in my car with the Racetronix pump setup; the superglue that holds the lid to the bucket, does it have to be sealed, like water tight? It's pretty good, but there's some places where it's questionable weather or not the superglue is making a full complete seam around the lid. I was looking to throw it all back together today after a complete 24 hour cure time, but if not i'll apply more tonight and tackle the rest tomorrow.

I don't think it needs to be water tight, but the lid needs to be on there tight.

Just the answer I was looking for! I crammed it back in the tank, check the fuel pressure and it fired right up!

yeah, the only reason why it seals the top is to keep the pump from getting loose, that bucket allows fuel in from the top to cool the pump.
