rally lights on a camaro?!

I just got back from the Lake Superior Pro Rally and i love the obnoxious lights that they put on the front of their cars for night driving. If i ever converted my camaro to a rally camaro i'd definitely get them--only problem i'm not sure where they would fit nicely.
Ex. on crazy guy with rally mustang:

i'll maybe try to chop something up here. if this fails as a thread i can post some other pics i took this weekend.

I've see a camaro here in Houston with a brush gaurd... that would be PERFECT :D
Look at the mustang, the ones on the hood are kinda molded in. You do that on a camaro, and one row mounted on a bar coming out of the front grill.

If you are serious, remove your foglights, and rig up a removeable bar that can spread that gap... line it with lights. It's lower than ideal.... but I doubt you want to permanently mount the lights.

If your car was going to be specifically a "rally car", then yes. If you plan on driving it around on the streets with those lights on it too if its not just going to be a "rally car", I'd be prepared to get some strange stares and a few laughs from people. Why would you do it to a Camaro though? If you are really serious, buy a Subaru or something like that. A Camaro probibly wouldnt last that good in those conditions. You would need to do some major suspension work, and I just dont think it would be worth using a Camaro for that stuff.

SOME rally events are on-road, or smooth dirt roads... depending on the area and the races you want to run... a camaro might not be a bad choice. Then again, a smaller more agile car is definitely more common (even that stang is quite a bit smaller).

that was pretty much the idea i was thinking of. otherwise i do agree with everyone else that a camaro is a poor choice of a rally car. (though it would be much easier to drift around turns without using the handbrake)

After reading the title and OP again, I changed my mind...

"Where would you put rally lights on a camaro?"

In the trunk.

I was kinda thinking you could locate them in the trash can.

I'd say if you want to do that and be competetive, get an AWD of some sort.

Oh... I WISH I had a pic of it... WAY worse than that.
It did not go back "over" the bumper... but it had the loops that circle around the headlights... they were just 1 foot in front of them since it went straight up at the front.

Shit I wish I had a wrap-around brush guard installed when I blasted that deer in my car.
