The ls1 caliper is dual piston iirc.

im just wondering about the actual size of the caliper cause my front pro stars barely clear the stock brakes

ok well i found out that the rotors are 12",lt1s are 11" i believe. And the general rule of thumb is rotor size+4" for rims.So you would need 16" rims for the ls1 swap

that can't be right, ls1 guys run 15" front wheels all the time

Prostars will be fine. Maybe a little grinding here and there and possibiliy a small spacers if you don't want to grind. I'm running spacers on my BS SL with an LT1 setup...wroks just fine.

What size spacers do to have ? Did you do any grinding or did they just bolt up with the spacers ?
I think the fronts work out to be a 3/16" or 1/4" spacer.
Rears are a whole different story.... lol

LT = single piston cast calipers with 11" discs. LS = dual piston aluminum calipers with 12" discs. 15 will be tight & might have some clearance issues. A spacer or maybe a bit of grinding should take care of that. I run 17" with my LS swap. The CTS-V swap requires a minimum of 18" to fit.
