First off i want to thank Larry at Speed Inc for the insight into the issues with the 1993 cars. He was helpful and with his info I was able to put together something that worked for me. Unfortunatly it did not involve purchase from them, but I want all to know he is a great asset to us LTxers. Without further adeu..
I have vette FRC's that were already cut for the fuel line connections. Also I use the factory schrader valve for a gauge (and eventually a wet shot) and I did not want to loose that either. For those non 1993 owners, the fuel lines and rails are totally different than 94+ cars. I wanted to see if it was possible to make a plug and play set of lines so I did not have to cut and put compression fittings on the hard lines. I was able to get Fuel Line adapters (Russell) and some lines. The lines were from a buddy that scrapped plans for his cars fuel system. They are -6an and have the 90 degree elbow crimped on the end (7 feet long). This meant that the line and adapter would not be much taller than the stock ones. My whole goal was to just move the stock lines off the fender and clean up under the hood. I was not too concerned about seeing the braided lines. They look much better than the stock ones and with the adapters still in the stock location, removal is very easy. I also have a braided lokar throttle cable that you can see. The attaced pic is just the test fit. I plan on changing the blue adapters and nuts to black. I will have to make some kind of hidden clip to keep the lines in place. Overall I am happy with the look. I could see how some people would want the lines totally hidden, but I am fine with it. I will post up pics top and bottom when completed.

thats pretty cool,im about to switch to a 94+ intake tho so oh well.i might as well do some an fuel rail fittings.i have the same piece that connects to the throttle body on my car as well, wouldnt that mess up the flow since it isnt completely smooth ?

I have to fix the TB connector off the air box. I had it off when I installed the new rad shroud and didnt put it back together right. Once it is set right it is pretty straight and smooth

Thanks!, THe FRC's were a purchase from a member here. I added the CAMARO. There a still quite a few 93's roaming around. As I ahve found out over the years they ar quite unique.

do you have pics of how you filled the hole on the fender? i did that on my old car and plan to do it again on my new car, just never came up with a good pan for filling the hole.

I havent finished the job yet. Been busy at work and a few other projects. As of now I am planning on putting a 1 1/2 inch elecrtic Fuel Pressure gauge in the hole in the fender. I have to fab a plate for it. I am also making a cover for the fuse box and al the wiring that I reloacated under the MSD box. I am pretty sure I am going to delete the ABS too so this may change how I make the cover. I will post pics as soon as it is all done.
I know this is resurrecting an old post, but any updates on this?
I've got a '93 and had been considering just doing the fuel line relocate, but after being under my car today (for the first time since October) I'm kind of uncomfortable with the condition of the hard lines underneath the car. I'm thinking about running braided all the way back to the tank.

Well I had to pull my motor soon after this mod. It is all back together and running fine. Nice part is easy disconnect with the fittings in the stock location. I did use safety wire at the hard line connection uder the car, but I am thinking about going all the way to the tank eventually. Here are some recent pics uder the hood. I found a 1 1/2 inch fuel gauge and made a plexiglas plate to fill the old hole in the inner fender. It was hooked up to my electric sender, but i didnt hook it back up after i put the motor back in.

I would double check the boot at the TB if the very top picture is post installation, looks like it may restrict some.
Looks awesome though, I am wanting to do some red in my bay to match my car too. Nice!

i only hope to have a engine bay that clean with my new build, removing ABS, wire mods (w/new EFI harness), planing on standing up the Rad. and also thinking about pulling the A/C.

Nice engine bay. Did you remove the hood latch or tucked it? I'm tryin to tuck my whole engine bay right now as well. It's very time consuming.

Thanks! I tucked the cable under the drivers fender. Was pretty easy, should have been that way from factory. I got some plastic plugs from Lowes to fill the holes.
