Interesting project, I wonder how he painted it and how the frame got from black to silver between the first two pics.

Maybe they are out of order. It's common in the truck world to build the frame, complete the truck, then strip it down for paint/powder coat, then reassemble. Too many chances taken if you paint as you go.
